THE TEAM

We are looking for a Knowledge Base Specialist to write, edit, and curate the content in our Pathfind knowledge base. Reporting to the Market Strategy Manager, you will be working with Market Managers, Template Analysts, Product, and SMEs from various teams to assess knowledge base content needs and ensure that the relevant teams can easily access the information they need to be successful in their role.

You will work to improve content findability and usability by ensuring content is optimally structured and tagged.

You will work closely with the Market Strategy Manager to implement knowledge management strategies, and content management best practices, including centralizing, organizing, and disseminating knowledge to facilitate the seamless exchange of information across teams, departments, groups, programs, and systems.

THE ROLE & YOUR MISSION

Collaborate with Market Managers, Template Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts to curate and keep up-to-date market-specific content, and create collateral documents based on audience needs.

Assimilate information extracted from SMEs and re-write it where applicable into a defined style, ensuring that it is clearly articulated and targeted to the correct audiences.

Editing, formatting, and structuring existing content and publishing knowledge articles in alignment with content standards.

Drive adoption of governance processes, proactive content management and adherence to guidelines and best practices among knowledge contributors.

Document and maintain knowledge base best-practice standards (format, style and tone).

Schedule regular reviews of the knowledge base to identify areas that need to be updated / expanded and review all content for accuracy, organization, readability, and other requirements (format, style and tone).

Report statistics on knowledge base usage patterns / trends, creation, updates, depreciation and self-serve metrics.

Document and maintain knowledge base best-practice standards (format, style and tone).

Coordinate with Market Strategy Manager to ensure content is aligned and consistent across several mediums of communication that target multiple audiences.

YOUR EXPERIENCE & VALUES

Previous experience in content writing / editing or knowledge base management in a computer software context.

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Technical Writing or Journalism.

Excellent English language editing and writing skills able to differentiate errors from opinions on style, and articulate reasons for changes.

Strong writing, interpersonal, and oral communication skills with proven ability to write, edit and organize thoughts in a clear, concise, and well-organized manner

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel. Proven experience working with Confluence, Notion or another wiki or content authoring software, and basic knowledge of HTML.

Detail-oriented - exercises extreme attention to detail; is thorough, accurate, organized, and productive and seeks to understand both the cause and effect of a situation.

Curious mindset always learning and seeking ways to make things better.

Ability to present information in various forms including, interactive tutorials, and knowledge articles using text, video, illustrations, and graphics

Self-motivated with the ability to produce high-quality work with minimum supervision
