As a Product Owner in the Digital Innovation team , has a mission to research, develop, and integrate state-of-the-art smart technologies Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Information Extraction, Data-Intensive Digital Curation into Sustainalytics informational value chain.

Our goal is to improve existing processes and products, as well as to create new products.

Job Responsibilities

As a (Senior) Business Analyst in the Digital Innovation team, you will be involved in a broad range of tasks, combining independent work and collaboration with various stakeholders with the aim of creating, maintaining, and improving various data-intensive digital curation technologies.

The main responsibilities of this position will be :

  • Engage with internal stakeholders to translate their business needs into technical solutions;
  • Research, design, and generate detailed use cases for digital curation solutions allowing users to retrieve, navigate, research, curate, and publish rich unstructured and structured data available on the web or other open sources;
  • Support software development teams’ implementation of use cases, ensuring alignment with business and user requirements;
  • Once technical solutions are implemented, support users and stakeholders with acceptance testing, training and onboarding;
  • Conduct effective project management to ensure key project deadlines are met;
  • Qualifications

  • Experience acting as an IT business analyst or product owner;
  • Experience creating analysis documents such as workflow diagrams, conceptual data models, functional requirements specifications, etc.;
  • Experience with multi-stakeholder consultation and requirements gathering;
  • Experience working with software development teams;
  • Flexible mindset with strong ability to adapt for constantly shifting business requirements and needs;
  • Ability to proactively identify and address potential issues throughout the design, implementation, and rollout phases;
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Proficient business English oral and writing skills (the company’s working language is English);
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of understanding and speaking both technologically and from a business perspective;
  • Nice to have

  • Proficiency with SQL and related data management tools (e.g. PowerBI)
  • Proficiency with Python
  • Experience acting as a business analyst or product owner for machine learning projects;
  • Knowledge of ESG investing concepts;
  • Master or bachelor’s degree in related discipline (business, finance, science, ICT);
  • Passion about global sustainability issues like environmental protection and human rights.
