Role mission & context
A Delivery Leader is overall responsible for the delivery of a team. We are looking for 2 Delivery Leaders for an expanding delivery, all connected to EPTS (PROSIT+ mainly) deliveries, which contain both runtime and onetime.
That means that the roles are both wide and broad and it’s important to act as a servant leader.
Hired candidates will be the representative of the team in the EPTS leadership team and will be reporting to the delivery manager, currently based in Poland.

Competencies
Relevant University degree
A good listener and have the ability to develop people and build effective teams
Strong experience from working in an IT delivery organization including solid knowledge about methods used
Excellent communication & presentation skills are a requirement
Experience from working in a global context
Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
Understanding of the business processes and solutions of the sub-portfolio is added value
Background as an agile coach is added value
Required leadership competencies
Have demonstrated leadership competencies relevant to the Volvo Group Leading People level or strong leadership potential as an Emerging Leader.
Previous experience in being an awesome human being is meritorious.

Service to the Development Team
Coach team members in self-management and cross-functionality
Support the team to accomplish flow, focus on creating high-value increments that meet the agreed Definition of Done
Causing the removal of impediments to the Team’s progress
Ensuring that all agreed agile events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox
Leads teams efforts in continuous learning and improvement
Educate the team in Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Kanban or any other agile methods needed to increase the teams performance
Service to the Product Owner
Helping find techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management
Helping the Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
Helping establish empirical product planning for a complex environment
Facilitating stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed
