How could you help us do this?
The Workforce Planning Specialist (Program Manager) will be responsible for the development of workforce plans by incorporating business strategies, financial goals, and human capital requirements.
The new colleague will partner with business management to understand business needs, develops and recommends optimal workforce plans, and develops the processes for implementing plans across all company business groups and global functions.
What kind of work would you be doing?
Lead and drive to improve the process of developing workforce plans aligned to business or function needs.
Oversee data collection, provide superior analyses and interpretation / evaluation of workforce metrics.
Develop advanced and innovative statistical / financial analytical models and techniques.
Monitor business progress against the execution of workforce plans and ensures plans are aligned with corporate principles.
Apply superior subject matter expertise in internal and external workforce trends to evaluate workforce plans, identify gaps and propose solutions to HR and business / function executives.
Ensure workforce planning processes are cost-effective and efficient.
Deliver data driven insights to support actionable strategic workforce direction.
Collaborate with executives across the company (business, HR, finance, etc) in the strategic planning, implementation, and monitoring of workforce plans.
Build and present presentations to HR and business executives.
Analyze external industry trends, competitive threats, and expansion opportunities to integrate into strategic workforce plans.
What achievements should you have so far?
First level university degree; advanced university degree in business preferred.
Typically 7-10 years experience in finance and / or business administration, or human resources.
Demonstrated experience modelling workforce trends and analytics, including the utilization of various forms of data analysis.
Advanced skills in MS Excel and Access or other database application, and strong skills in MS PowerPoint and Word. HR Workday experience highly preferred.
Experience working with a variety of information systems and large and complex data files, analyzing file structure, using, and creating file layouts.
