Work as part of a large global team providing steady state support and operations for a complex Infrastructure-as-a-Service cloud solution.
Provide end-to-end support for AIX and Power Systems. Manage AIX operating systems hosting the cloud solution, including service management and advanced troubleshooting, performance and process monitoring.
Responsibilities include off-hours change support and on-call support by rotation.
Advanced AIX administration and troubleshooting skills, including NIM, VIO, HMC
Working Experience with System P (Power Systems)
Working experience with enterprise Linux distributions (RHEL preferred)
Experience with HACMP and HADR
Systems Director and VMControl
Understanding of storage architectures
Core infrastructure services like DNS, NTP, SMTP and SNMP
Experience working in support positions with large, complex environments
Advanced English skills (speak, write, understand)
Nice to have skills
Experience with System Management and Monitoring tools
Experience with Tivoli System Automation Manager (TSAM) or Tivoli Provisioning Manager (TPM) is a big plus
Experience with DB2
