Our Web Experience team is responsible for our PWA platform and SEO tools, content, and performance.

In this role, you can work remotely from anywhere in Poland.

About the team

The Web Experience team was formed in the Berlin OLX office in April 2020. It was the merging of the former SEO and PWA Platform teams.

At present, it consists of two backend engineers, three front-end engineers, an engineering manager, and a product manager - all fully dedicated to the team.

Additionally, we rely on the help of a product analyst and an SRE, which we share with other teams inside our parent organization (consisting of four development teams).

We've been working remotely 100% of the time since 2020 and we plan to stay remote-first after the pandemic.

This is a highly technical team handling two key topics : SEO and PWA.

One key aspect of our team is that the scope is pretty broad so we focus on building the right tools and processes to avoid as much manual work and human error as possible.

The architecture of our mobile website is an important part of good performance, which turns out to be the foundation for a great customer experience and a good SEO ranking.

This highly impacts our end users, making sure search engines such as Google can find us and therefore our customers can find us on Google.

Last but not least, we are data-driven. We use data to validate our decisions. Deciding which are the right metrics in each case is part of our challenge as a team.
