This role will support the Business Operations of the IT organization across Finastra. Reporting to the VP of the IT Business Management Office (BMO), the BA will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on IT financial and program management performance, by focusing on purchasing, billing and supporting project operations with cost and performance analysis.

Responsibilities & Deliverables :

  • Plan, raise, track and receipt of IT blanket Purchase Orders for recurring global services in the corporate ERP application (NetSuite);
  • Act as IT SME in relation to Finance & Purchasing matters for the global IT team while working closely with other cross-functional teams such as Finance & Procurement;
  • Appreciation of common financial terminology and concepts (e.g. CapEx, OpEx and accruals)
  • Support the establishment of a central hub of IT contract renewal dates, to facilitate forward planning and pro-activity around financial and technology decisions;
  • Review IT invoices against the existing agreements and validate them with the internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely posting as per our Financial Planning;
  • Escalate and / or resolve vendor billing disputes for outstanding payments or other administrative issues;
  • Provide reports and support for budgets or forecasts required by IT management;
  • Provide financial support during the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process ensuring the business can meet its targets in an optimal way;
  • Support the defining of (Power) BI reports to measure various KPIs;
  • Provide project support to the IT organization across the project portfolio.
  • Qualifications :

  • At least 2 years of experience preferable either in NGOs or a multinational company;
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration or finance;
  • Computing proficiency including advanced use of the MS Office 365 suite, particularly with strong Excel skills;
  • Must be numerate with good general Math Skills;
  • Knowledge of PowerBI an advantage, but not essential.

  • Data manipulation, analytical thinking and problem solving skills;
  • Any experience of business Administration or Business Finance would be an advantage but is not essential.
