Your future teams are developing Nokia 3GPP mainstream radio technology products and solutions including cross-technology responsibility (Multi Radio Access Technology).
Your unit’s main priorities are flawless execution of System programs including Network Management & Optimization and attached services.
What you will learn and contribute to
You will join one of the key Nokia R&D Centers in Mobile Networks, with worldwide recognized technical expertise in OAM (Operations, Administration& Management) software type and System Integration and Verification.
We are making sure that the software functionalities for Nokia 5G base stations are ready to be delivered to customers all over the world.
This role is part of the 5G Cloud project which is the next step of the 5G classical in Telecom industry. The main goal of the 5G cloud project is to virtualize the SW & HW components of the classical 5G BTS and execute them on servers.
Currently, we are looking to enlarge our team for PIT (Plane Integration Testing)!
PIT is the first real layer of testing SW code. Based on the specification diagrams, PIT engineers create test plans, write & execute functional test cases on software binaries and interfaces between them in a simulated environment.
Tests are automated and written in a programming language called TTCN3 (similar to Python). PIT test cases are run on every code delivery and ensure stability of the code.
Main activities are : new feature implementation, local support and stability. You will oversee testing the OAM software of Nokia base station.
At this level we test all binaries / components as a part of end-to-end scenarios.
Your main responsibilities :
Reviewal of system specifications
Preparation of test plan and test scenarios
Development of automated test cases and campaigns if needed
Results analysis, consisting in submission of fault reports, providing feedback to the designers, testing of corrections
Your skills and experience
Your qualifications :
University Degree in a relevant field : IT, Automation, Electronics or Telecommunications.
Experience in software testing : medium or advanced
Experience in scripting / programming : Python, TTCN-3, C, Robot etc.
Linux and Shell Scripting : medium or advanced
Skills in automation : creating and running automated testing, non-regression campaigns
Continuous Integration knowledge
Good communication in English, both written and spoken
Nice to have :
Agile development methodologies
Software testing certifications (ISTQB)
Wireless technologies (5G)
