Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative role is responsible for achieving the business targets and KPIs and SLA through fast and diligent process support.

The Customer Service Representative role is responsible for achieving the business targets and KPIs and SLA through fast and diligent process support.

Quote & order Management Market Source business :

  • Process incoming customer requisitions
  • Source the product at the supplier (search for distributors for some producers already in the database; check if suppliers are eligible for orders)
  • complete requisition status in Stibo
  • use VWR Webshop for direct sourcing
  • Product master data maintenance & Support
  • Support local MS pricing (transfer to CBE if is new item or updating price, create the price ( ZLST and ZPSP) in SAP)
  • Quote creation for UCB client
  • Trouble shoot and monitor requisition flow
  • Communication with internal and external international stakeholders
  • Check and do the fetching for new items on VWR Webshop when required
  • Other tasks might include but are not limited to various process improvements and / or process related projects like :

  • Workload assignment; task assignment
  • Light activity reporting
  • Work on various process documentations when asked to (review, update, edit, translate)
  • Knowledge transfer to new hires when required (process overview, procedure explanation, mentoring, coaching)
  • Academic : high school qualification, scientific background or business administration

    Experience : 3 + years of experience in a fast paced, customer focused environment (direct customer contact)

    experience in business management

    Certifications : business administration or business-minded lab technician

    Language skills (refer CEFR) :

  • for Germany : German B2 / C1, English B2
  • for France : French B2 / C1, English B2
  • for Switzerland : German B2 / C1, English B2, French B2
  • for Belgium : English B2 / French & Dutch A2 (not mandatory)
  • for Netherlands : Combined with Belgium EN B2 would be enough start in 2019
  • IT Skills : MS office, SAP (eligible) : Demonstrates ability to effectively utilize technology platforms including CRM Tools

    Soft skills :

  • Highly customer focused as well as proactive and team focused
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to comfortably interact with various client types (e.g. technical, end user, and economic buyers)
  • High sense of responsibility
  • Eager to learn and consistently improve their knowledge
