Description
As a member of our global purchasing solutions team you will support the activities and users of the corporate wide procurement system for indirect purchasing at Continental.
In this function you will be in direct contact to the different user groups and represent the interface to the IT department.
Purchasing process and system support :
Support for inhouse ordering tool with focus on Germany and Europe
Handling of service tickets and user calls
Definition of appropriate measures incl. tracking and follow-up with IT department
Communication with internal customers, IT and suppliers
Reporting, monitoring and problem management
Creation of user manuals and general process documentation
Perform trainings and testing
Project involvement :
Support of global project activities as rollouts, upgrades and system enhancements
Analysis of local processes and its deviations from standard
Implementation of standard processes for indirect purchasing Qualifications
University degree (bachelor in economics, purchasing and logistics, and other related fields would be preferred)
Experience in purchasing and previous knowledge in SAP would be a plus
Language skills : business fluent in English, medium to advanced German in both written and writing would be a plus.
