Summary

This role is vital to Alpega’s competitive ambitions and offers incredible opportunity to accelerate your career by driving business impact and coordinating the Sales and Marketing actions for our Freight Exchange platforms (123cargo / BursaTransport) in Romania.

In this position, you will be part of a dedicated team that takes by turns responsibility and execution of small Sales and Marketing projects.

You will report to the local manager.

Your role

  • Responsible for supporting the sales team to achieve and / or exceed the targets;
  • Tenaciously pursue positive outcomes by using effective approaches to gain market share, and to retain customers;
  • Implement, analyze and continuously adjust actions for customer acquisition and customer retention;
  • Manage and execute marketing campaigns in alliance with HQ (online and offline media, events, etc.), and collaborate with agencies for the execution & production of third party media activities;
  • Implement marketing strategies and events, and coordinate initiatives to achieve business targets;
  • Control and guidance of 123cargo local partners (HU, BG, and PL); prepare monthly reports and maintain updated on business evolutions;
  • Openly and pro-actively interact and share information and expertise with Alpega colleagues and build a communicative network.
  • Required skills

  • 3+ years of professional experience in an operational, coordinating and administrative role;
  • You have excellent skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and internet applications (incl. Social Media);
  • Native Romanian and a good command of English;
  • An interest of, or a first experience with the transport business, sales or marketing are a big plus;
  • Your main driver is to acquire new business and to understand how you can play an important part in the customer decision process;
  • You have a to-the-point, proactive, and transparent communication style, with outstanding listening skills;
  • You can proactively manage expectations between colleagues, partners, customers, and prospect;
  • You are highly organized, with strong analytical- and problem-solving skills;
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you are self-driven, passionate and you love to work independently, whilst being a strong team player.
