Zyncc Analysis Engine (ZAE) is our tool for automating software licensing analysis logic. It is written in Python. The technical analysts in our team develop the analytical processes they use to analyze our customers’ software licensing usage and compliance.
As a ZAE Content Manager you will be supporting technical analysts to develop this analytical logic. Your work will involve understanding their goals, supporting them to translate their work into automatable processes, reviewing code, defining and ensuring coding guidelines and best practices, but also refactoring existing code and realigning it to the guidelines.
At the same time you are expected to come up with ideas on how to improve the development framework (the platform and also the processes around it) in order to make analysts' life easier.
You will collaborate with your team to jointly get more educated about best practices for coding and analytical systems development.
You have at least 3 years of experience working as a software developer in areas related to data analytics. You've worked with a variety of programming languages and development frameworks.
You stay up-to-date with the latest changes in the technologies you work with and you are engaged in on-line communities where these technologies are discussed.
You are familiar with Agile development methodologies, especially Scrum. You like to keep things well organized, starting from the code base you manage to how you plan your work.
You can easily step into the business content whenever you see information missing in the specifications for development.
You are able to ask critical questions to get clarity about the specification and also to understand the underlying business goals.
You are enthusiastic about the startup mentality. You're searching for an entrepreneurial work environment where your knowledge and experience can make a difference.
