The Power Management Applications Tech is responsible to support and assist all Applications Engineers with new evaluation and reference designs, boards to highlight the key features of Analog Microchip’s devices, work in laboratory with modern tools to build boards, evaluate or / and debug application issues, collect bench data and create reports, support development tools and by case write application notes in collaboration with a supervisor.
Job Description :
Technical assistance for the Microchip’s Linear, LED Lighting and DC-DC Regulators ICs
Support IC testing and validation, collect bench data, working in laboratory and build Eval and References kits
Give support for and / or create technical collateral material and other documentation.
Occasional support customer’s designs by giving technical guidance on solving problems under a Supervisors assistance
Generate collaterals & help Applications Engineers with design new applications idea, Reference Designs, Evaluation and Demo Boards
High School Degree in Electronics, Automatics or Engineering skills
Basic of Electronic components and circuits, Elementary Electricity Law and Circuits
Understanding and analysis of the simple analog circuits
Strong hands on skills, build PCB Boards and testing, working with SMD and THT components, soldering skills
Knowledge and some experience with hardware design, PCB design tools (like OrCad, Eagle, Altium Designer preferred)
Knowledge of using a simulation tool is a plus (SPICE, Simplis, Simetrix, Proteus, etc.)
Good knowledge of the laboratory equipments and interpreting of the test results
Prior experience with DC / DC Regulators is a plus
Microcontrollers programming skill is a plus
Communication skills : Technical documents writing Presentation Skills
Good verbal and written English
