Training Coordinator responsibilities include communicating with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals.

Training Coordinators are responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating, and conducting all training programs.

This person has experience with various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs, and e-learning.

Experience with different projects, like management training and soft-skills development, is also essential.

You should also be familiar with the instructors, equipment, and educational material requirements for each project. If you can think of and design engaging ways to train our employees (e.

g. client role-playing exercises or outdoor activities), we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, the role of the Training Coordinator is to oversee all professional development at Glovo!

Be a part of a team where you will :

  • Needs analysis :
  • Identify gaps in current performance, skills, processes & knowledge across Glovo services / hubs in scope* (may include other outsourced services beyond LO)
  • Proactively surface roadblocks, risks, needs and liaise with relevant internal and outsourced stakeholder to tackle them
  • Collect requests from outsourced partners & internal stakeholders to address content gaps
  • Identify trends through performance data (in partnership with LO Managers & Quality) to inform priorities / action plans
  • Consult with stakeholders on providing high quality problem statements - measurable, actionable, addressing the root problem, clearly scoped
  • Coordination & communication :
  • Cross-functional coordination : management of training calendar, ensure clarity of procedures being communicated, and provide feedback from hubs to internal stakeholders.
  • Management of communication : channel, structure & frequency to ensure effective knowledge transfer to internal & external teams.
  • Manage / bridge all training-related communications between external providers and HQ Training & Managers
  • Maintain alignment with LO Managers & Quality on priorities & resources
  • Manage vendor training in line with priorities agreed with LO Managers
  • Define and maintain quality standards of outsourced trainers (T3, trainer quality program)
  • Build & maintain map of subject matter experts internally & externally to provide ongoing input on content & updates
  • Monitoring & Reporting :
  • Assess the effectiveness of training initiatives through monitoring of key KPIs and performance metrics
  • Define measurement strategy for knowledge enhancement activities (clearly define success and problem statement before developing actions with hubs)
  • Provide regular communication about the effectiveness of efforts (QBRs / WBRs with LO managers)
  • Design, maintain and update a training measurement framework for each type of training and knowledge efforts
  • Monitor and analyze trends and insights from hubs, Quality, and LO managers. Proactively surface opportunities / gaps / risks
  • Monitor, manage & optimize training costs through effective planning, tracking, and optimization of hours.
  • Knowledge management :
  • Ensure updates on policy, product, process, and solutions are documented accurately in knowledge platforms (LMS, KB, decks) and report to Content Team missing information in KB.
  • Proactively surface best practices and identify ways to scale and standardize knowledge across teams.
  • Manage the LMS platform in your scope - usage, audiences, quality, processes.
  • Prioritization of projects & initiatives

  • Regional POC for Global Prioritization :
  • Serve as the representative, across Glovo services of the region's knowledge and skills priorities including data and objective use cases to inform training roadmap prioritization.
  • Gather business feedback, identify needs across Glovo hubs, develop problem statements and business use cases

  • Secure agreement from the LO managers that the final list is right, accurate, and complete
  • Produce a prioritized list of actions using objective criteria
  • Regional Expert for Regional Prioritization :
  • Serve as the expert for prioritizing regional initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop prototypes to identify and address knowledge / skill needs
  • Provide visibility and transparency on what is / is not prioritized and why (trade offs)
  • Project execution

  • Project Management :
  • Scoping and delivering global and regional projects (e.g., synthesize and aligning regional inputs, clarifying project plan development / management, including, if needed, training deployment)
  • Coordinating the launch of new vendors, sites, services, and pilots
  • Regional Expertise & Requirements :
  • Synthesize and communicate regional perspective on requirements (e.g., must have, discretionary) including data, use cases, and documentation
  • You have :

  • 2-3 years of experience in similar / same position
  • Being able to identify Training needs through Training needs analysis
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.
  • Strategic alignment of the training function with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Be able to evaluate training performance to determine if training is meeting business needs.
  • Be able to Develop / propose learning solutions that meet the needs / gaps of the organization.
  • Understand how to manage resources, including materials and outsources employees.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to ensure proficient communication with vendors.
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Proven ability to complete the full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate).
