Overview :

The commercial operation team's primary purpose is to work collaboratively with the sales organisation to help drive strategic business planning and commercial growth initiatives through the design of data analytics, sales processes, and leveraging of sales productivity tools.

This role will have a key role in driving the development, testing and roll out of sales productivity tools to the sales teams, also helping to facilitate sales team training and inductions.

Team Leader Commercial Operations role is to play a key contributor role as well as lead and motivate the Commercial Operations COE team to optimum performance levels to achieve agreed targets contributing to the sales organisation's objectives.

Provide clear and concise direction, support, and guidance to the team through effective coaching, leadership and setting of SMART objectives.

In this position you will be responsible for supporting and enabling the movements of CRM Accounts, Sales Quota Carrier Territories, and Sales Reporting functions within the ESI Sales organization at ADP.

In conjunction with centralized Sales Operations and ADP's Business Process Innovation, the Team Leader Commercial Operations will help establish a best-in-class focused practice on account management, territory management and standardized reporting support for Sales Business Units engaged with small business to large multinational corporations.

Partners and consults with Sales Insights & Automation (part of Global Sales Operations) and provides quick turnaround on day-to-day business critical responsibilities.

Main responsibilities :

  • Assist in the management and roll out of sales performance analysis and reporting dashboards.
  • Optimise lead generation, pipeline management and performance tracking to increase new business activity and provide visibility to the business.
  • Assist in the development and roll out of sales tools and platforms to improve sales team efficiency and commercial effectiveness, providing comprehensive training and inductions where required.
  • Provide commercial support and analysis during the collation of tender documents for group and regional on trade accounts, liaising with other departments as required to manage the tender process.
  • Support the sales team with process improvement, measurement, tracking and analytics relevant to their functional areas
  • Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes
  • Track and analyse key metrics including pipeline growth, win / loss rates, and quota attainment
  • Assist with on-boarding and training new sales hires
  • Proactively maintain, manage, communicate, and update Sales Accounts and Territories using CRM system () and Territory Management
  • Align territories and accounts in response to market and personnel changes
  • Maintain case workflow to ensure Just In Time territory assignment and SLAs
  • Build and manage standardized Sales Reporting
  • Batch Upload account assignments using DataLoader
  • Data cleansing initiatives to reduce duplicates and erroneous information in CRM
  • Provide highly engaged, client focused and Just-in-Time support for Sales partners
  • Identify and provide recommendations on how to improve the workflow required in performing compliance activities and audits
  • Provide a range of administrative support to the field sales teams to help in the achievement of sales objectives.
  • Qualifications :

  • 0-3 years of experience in Sales / Marketing Operations, Data Entry, or Quality Control environment
  • BS / BA Degree; or equivalent preferred
  • 1 + of team leader / management experience
  • Prior Knowledge of SFDC and Tableau (and / or other CRM platforms) a plus
  • Competency and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, and PPT)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as ease of interacting with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to strive in a fast-paced evolving sales environment
  • Prior knowledge / experience in document management, sales order processing and / or HR a plus
  • Ability to handle confidential matters
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

    Preference will be given to candidates who have the following :

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to produce high quality reports, presentations and other documents
  • Superb organization skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
  • Ability to handle confidential matters
