What will you contribute? As a key member of the Technology Resilience (aka Disaster Recovery) team, the Process Excellence Analyst is responsible for improving the ways processes are leveraged in support of delivering better outcomes for the Technology Resilience team and the clients they support.

The Technology Resilience team has traditionally been responsible for the planning, coordination, execution governance and reporting of Disaster Recovery tests.

This is now being refined, enhanced, and expanded with a programme of improvements delivered using agile approaches. The Process Excellence Analyst will be key to the success during this transition and beyond where processes will be more clearly defined, documented, optimized, evangelized, implemented, automated and refined.

  • These processes will support and ensure the success of the improvement objectives of the team, which are : Disaster Recovery tests will be consolidated, automated and move towards whole Data Center failovers;
  • regulator commitments will be met and clearly articulated; and enhanced methods for demonstrating technology resilience (beyond Disaster Recovery testing) will be defined, designed and implemented.

    The Process Excellence Analyst will work collaboratively with management, the Technology Resilience Technical and Team Leaders, the agile coach, scrum masters and technical staff to ensure that the set of all process objectives and goals progress in unison and that no aspects fall by the wayside i.

  • e. that both the Business As Usual and the strategic improvements progress simultaneously. Responsibilities & Deliverables : Your deliverables as the Process Excellence Analyst in the Technology Resilience Team will include, but are not limited to, the following : Work with management and Technology Resilience leaders to drive process excellence operational programs and projects, based on actual performance data across areas such as : maintaining and improving standards;
  • maintaining and publishing coordinated roadmaps across team projects; documenting and improving Disaster Recovery procedural steps per Product;
  • whole datacenter failover planning, execution and ongoing maintenance of those plans; creation and maintenance of Disaster Recovery configuration packs per Product;
  • Enterprise Risk Acceptance submissions; regulatory and audit responses and reporting; alignment of Disaster Recovery processes with adjacent IT groups (e.

  • g. FMM); onboarding new Products into Technology Resilience; SME skills inventory; Disaster Recovery test confidence ratings;
  • Disaster Recovery test improvement roadmaps; celebration of lessons learnt; escalation guidelines and procedures; workload scheduling and planning;
  • metrics, measurement and reporting dashboards Work with Technology Resilience team members, Customer Technology (IT) and business stakeholders to analyze technology resilience (esp.

    Disaster Recovery testing) operations and recommend solutions to align functions with organizational goals Understand the structure, policies, and operations of our organization and teams, and recommend solutions to improve processes and planning for the Technology Resilience team in particular Create reports, charts, graphs and presentations to aid in proposing new strategies for successful process changes Develop project estimates by identifying phases and elements, personnel requirements, and costs Supporting the delivery processes and frameworks that drive standardization across Technology Resilience and Disaster Recovery engagements and deliverables Support the activities of the Technology Resilience Team Members that do the planning, coordination, automation, designing, and reporting supporting Disaster Recovery testing and associated Technology Resilience activities Ensure that the set of all objectives and goals progress in unison and that no aspects fall by the wayside i.

    e. that both the Business As Usual and the strategic improvements progress simultaneously Support the Scrum Master’s facilitation of all standard Scrum / agile cadence practices including Daily Stand Up, Sprint Planning, Release Planning, Sprint Retrospective, and Backlog refinement activities Form partnerships across departments to streamline work processes and improve the speed at which the company can respond to and capitalize on opportunities Lead by example and support an environment that empowers and energizes team members, with a focus on accountability, adaptability, and collaboration Monitor and report on Process Excellence metrics and team performance Reporting and support for defining and refining executive reporting for the Technology Resilience team Required Skills & Experience : Ability to document processes from scratch is required Ability to collaborate, coordinate, and lead initiatives across stakeholders to develop thorough, consistent process documentation is required Ability to analyze process findings to identify and implement improvement opportunities (in a collaborative manner) opportunities through an iterative process is required Ability to add, remove, or re-engineer processes within constraints (financial, time, systems, etc.

    g. APQC) is required and previous experience using those Process Frameworks, Taxonomies, and Hierarchies is desirable Previous experience with a continuous improvement methodology, such as lean, six sigma, lean six sigma, agile, etc.

    0 format is required and previous experience using process mapping software (e.g. IBM Blueworks Live, ARIS, etc.) is desirable Expert ability in building analytics and reporting related to cloud management Experience working with global delivery teams is required and experience in delivering global DR solutions is desirable Excellent customer service and communication (oral / written) skills required and Able to build consensus, using team dynamics to achieve positive outcomes Strong critical thinking and analytical skills and ability to think out of the box required Must be able to work independently or with a team, under minimum supervision 7+ years of practical experience in the field of IT is with a focus on Disaster Recovery and proficiency with up-to-date DR strategies and methodologies is desirable A cloud certification is desirable including but not limited to AWS Solution Architect, GCP Architect and Azure Architect Experience with cloud service deployments spanning multiple years in highly complex environments is desirable Understanding of cloud computing architecture, technical design and implementations, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery models is desirable
