You will lead an experienced team of developers and your goal is to increase the game’s value. As a major stakeholder of the organization, the Senior Game Designer strongly influences short and long term strategy in terms of game development and general success of the our project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create game future feature release roadmap
Work closely with all aspects of Product Development to ensure all the game’s features are well researched, prioritized and in accordance to the organizations’ goals and direction
Defines the game vision together with senior game producer
Manage all aspects of the games’ development including game design, game economy, defining the schedule and its features.
Ensures all features of the products have been tested and evaluated.
Capture, communicate, and validate the requirements form the stakeholders using different techniques for information gathering.
Collaborating with all the stakeholders in order to understand and anticipate the needs and be able to translate it to product requirements for the development and art team
Analyzing trends in the gaming market, and continuously reviewing the competitive landscape
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3 years of experience in leading the production of a Social Games, experience and knowhow around blockchain Play to Earn Games is a BIG advantage
Intensive knowledge of designing and implementing features on unityengine based games
Is highly data and analysis- driven
A problem solver who can look at a problem and offer multiple solutions in the form of features
Experienced in writing extensive documentation which are easily read and understood by developers
Highly experienced in creating wireframes and mockups for design teams to give references
Understanding of game UI / UX
Demonstrated leadership skills- has successfully led teams including remote teams
Native or close to native English skills
Has great communication skills and can speak across different
Outstanding communication, and leadership skills as well as a team player attitude
Knowledge of Agile development methodology (Scrum, Kanban)
Able to work within the CET timezone
Native or close to native English
