About the Role
We are looking for a Digital Product Manager to lead one of our Research Platforms teams. As a Product Manager, you will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to define and manage the roadmaps for your platform, design, building and rolling-out new features that deliver the organization's vision and strategy.
You will act as both product expert and consultant to the business side and are responsible for gathering business requirements, setting the development roadmap, and executing on that roadmap.
Work within an Agile software development framework and team setting including UX designers, developers, and QA.
Design, develop and manage activities from product definition & planning to production and release
Develop the product strategy and roadmap
Collect, define, and translate business requirements into clear and concise specifications for the Business Analysts and / or team
Manage prioritization across multiple projects and workstreams, communicate timelines clearly and guide roadmap planning.
Understand how the business strategy relates to product strategy and execution.
Understand both business and technology requirements, serving as a conduit between stakeholders, sales, marketing, compliance, design, operations, and technology teams.
Demonstrate ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.
Lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product management, business analysis or client solution roles
Knowledge and experience with agile development, and good technical mindset and understanding required
Excellent oral and written communication, planning, and analytical skills
Self-directed and detail-oriented
Relevant background in software engineering or work in a technical environment
Working knowledge of front-end and back-end development and the design limitations and capabilities of both
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and adapt to changes
Exhibit strong problem solving and prioritization skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
Nice to have
A project management certification (eg. PMP) would be a plus
