In this role, The Learning and Development Programs Leader will play the functional coordination role for the multi-competent team, developing custom learning programs, projects and initiatives within the European Lifecycle Sales group and the European Training Centers.
Also, will be responsible for creating and developing training programs, training demos and improving the training infrastructure dedicated to Emerson customers.
The L&D Program Leader will initiate and perform activities to increase the Customer Education Service portfolio adoption in European country organizations, such as customer presentation, in-house sales training, ongoing general sales Q&A, estimation models, sales playbook, and Education calendar.
In a role of influence, the L&D Program Leader will collaborate closely with other departments (Sales Organization, Service Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, Global Lifecycle Services) to continuously update and improve the program considering all relevant business aspects.
Works in partnership with European Lifecycle Sales group and European Centers team to identify and, develop new training delivery methods and to manage a European training schedule for Emerson customers;
Actively collaborate and engage with all European Training Centers to deliver effective and efficient training programs to Emerson customers;
Coordinate the activities involved in the development of training programs and training materials;
Consolidate and standardize the training delivery methods in collaboration with European Training Centers;
Engage in the participation at sales meetings and customer training demos;
Responsible for the development, maintenance and improvement of the sales demo equipment and materials. Manage the requests for the demo equipment and materials for the European Sales Team or others;
Support the European sales representatives with technical details related to training content and delivery methods;
Lead the continuous improvement processes for learning and development customer programs in collaboration with the European Engineering group;
Support the European Learning and Development Center with coordination of learning and development related program initiatives;
Raise internal awareness of ELDC programs, strategy and success. Actively use sales tools to identify business opportunities and provide input to Marketing regarding ELDC offerings, including localization according to the business needs;
Work to standardize and improve the Customer Education Service sales processes across all EU countries (templates, tools, pricing, sales collaterals, order support administration);
Assist countries with converting qualified opportunities into orders by positioning Education services and incremental offerings, including in-house and customer presentations.
Degree in Engineering or Marketing;
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in program coordination;
Proficient in English with a second European language preferred (written and spoken);
Developed client-facing skills & able to interact with all levels within the management structure;
A clear and engaging communication style;
Strong project management skills;
2+ years of experience in working in a matrix organization;
2+ years of experience with training and development or sales;
Willingness to travel with European focus mainly for shorter periods (up to 20%) is required.
