The Mission :
As a Voice Administrator you will design and implement both the hardware and software technologies needed for a VoIP setup.
You will have to customize VoIP networks such as adding software and hardware, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, logging errors, backing up and restoring data, assigning permissions to users, and helping users for VoIP network issues.
Performs network needs assessment and evaluates new technology to improve network performances;
Develop voice network monitoring and management solutions to proactively monitoring voice and video network performance;
Install and Configure UCCX servers;
Daily administration of :
Cisco Unified Call Center Express (130+ seats - Customer Contact - - Centre, Collections and Helpdesk departments)- Cisco Call Manager Express-
Cisco Unified Workforce Management- Zoom Recording Solutions- GFI- Nuance Recognizer, Nuance Vocal Password;
Deliver training and documentation on project deliverables, as it relates to the SOW, BOM, procedure policy documents;
Responsible for troubleshooting, installing, implementing, life cycling and administering network systems;
Analyzes network activity and network problems to discover and prevent systematic errors;
Analyzes facilities bandwidth requirements and system interdependencies;
Ensures planned testing activities are performed and technical criteria are met;
Assesses network performance to ensure that it meets the present and future needs of the business;
First person of contact for external providers regarding telephony connections.
What you bring to the team :
BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering;
5+ years progressive work experience with Cisco Unified Communications product suite;
UCCX Infrastructure support and management;
SIP Voice Gateways, SIP Firewalls;
Call Manager Infrastructure support and management;
Installation, Implementation and Configuration;
Articulate market needs and opportunities for technology-based products and services.
Continually look for and recommends opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, increase efficiency, etc.
