Department Description

The CX Customer Advocacy team helps grow the Oracle business by finding and cultivating advocates, amplifying their success and expertise, and obsessing over strategic customers.

Brief Description

The CX Advocacy Product Manager is a pioneer whose mission is to grow and mobilize a community of fanatic brand advocates.

This Advocacy Manager will support a strategic, growing program that builds relationships with customers through engaging activities, opportunities and campaigns through online communities and onsite activations at our annual conference.

This is an ideal spot for someone who likes to build relationships, share stories, and work with technology.

This position benefits product teams, marketing and sales by increasing advocacy (e.g. success stories, testimonials, speakers, feedback, use cases) and increasing loyalty and retention.

Customer stories from this community are identified, cultivated, and packaged for amplification across marketing channels.

This role will be responsible for designing, building, promoting and maintaining customer-facing activities and campaigns, and measuring their effectiveness.

These campaigns create engagement and advocacy within the Oracle CX Cloud install base (primarily focusing on Service, Field Service, Sales, CPQ, and Commerce).

These initiatives require cross-departmental collaboration and vary in size, scope and complexity.

This role requires creative marketing and communication skills to engage and motivate advocates. The ideal candidate is personable, outgoing, and an effective communicator who acts as a liaison between customers and the rest of the organization.

This individual needs to be able to work independently and collaborate with others to create an incredible customer experience and reach business goals.

Desired Requirements and Experience

  • Customer-obsessed with proven ability to develop strong relationships with customers, partners and colleagues (e.g. gather feedback, collaborate, persuade, handle conflict effectively)
  • Organized, self-starter with strong project and program management skills
  • Creative with excellent communication (e.g. copy-writing, presenting), storytelling, and interpersonal skills; expertise with social media and online communities preferred
  • Analytical proactively gather qualitative and quantitative insights to identify and drive program improvements, and prove ROI of advocate engagement
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and channels, including CRM, Influitive AdvocateHub and online community are preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in marketing, communications or business
  • 3 to 5 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally with software / technology; ideally familiar with Oracle software
  • Exceptional skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Amount of Travel

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution.

    Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project / product on schedule and within budget.

    As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications.

    Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral.

    Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

    Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.

    BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
