Job Purpose :
As a Sales Engineer, part of the Technology Licensing team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality experience to Bitdefender prospects and partners.
Part of your day to day duties, you will make good use of your commercial and technical skills to present (online, onsite) and position Bitdefender's Technology Licensing solutions portfolio in front of prospective partners (ISV's, MSSP'S, TIP,sâ€ )
The presentations and discussions will be done onsite or remotely. You will be playing an essential role by working together with the rest of the sales teams to connect our prospects and partners with the Product Management team and the development and testing groups as needed.
You need to understand the customer needs and pain points and position the Company's Technology Licensing solutions to address the specific needs or pain-points.
You will support Bitdefender's Technology Licensing unit by acting as a technical contact for both Bitdefender's Partners and for the internal Sales organization.
To ensure a seamless technical and customer support experience for Partners, assist them in developing and carrying their integration projects to successful completion.
To be the binder between Bitdefender's and Partners' technical teams in all communication, to develop and maintain a good working relationship with them.
To support and actively participate in the growth of the business by supporting sales and marketing directors with technical information, advice and participation in meetings with potential Partners.
Key responsibilities and activities :
Together with the sales team, build up the funnel, qualify the opportunities, contribute to closing the sales and achieve the sales quota for the territory / region;
Be customer-centric by providing market-leading solutions and support to solve customer problems;
Provides Partners with all the technical information necessary for technology integration projects;
Builds and maintains the technical relationship with Bitdefender's Technology Partners;
Capture market needs and requirements sharing those with the Product Management team requesting the development of new features to fulfill those needs and requirements following up with them to deliver those features in a timely and satisfactory manner;
Supports the internal sales and marketing organizations with technical insight;
Respond RFx from a technical standpoint;
Participates in pre-sales calls alongside sales directors, as sales engineer;
Facilitates and leads technical communication between Bitdefender's development, testing and threat labs, on one hand, and its Partners, on the other;
Defines, implements and reviews processes designed to support Bitdefender's Technology Partners in a timely manner;
Participates in the process of delivery of new technologies by Bitdefender to its Partners;
Communicates to Partners on the delivery of new or updated technology packages;
Delivers trainings for new Bitdefender employees whose activity relates to technology licensing;
Reviews and approves clauses related to technical support in OEM contracts;
Has an obligation to comply and also to make sure that his work is in compliance with Bitdefender's Policies and Procedures.
Technical requirements :
At least 3 years' experience in the field of technical support / customer service and or Sales Engineering;
Extensive knowledge in the field of cyber-security, preferably in the anti-malware industry;
Knowledge of operating various operating systems : Windows, Linux / Unix, Mac, Android;
Knowledge of troubleshooting software errors and used tools on Windows, Linux / Unix, Mac, Android;
Good understanding of operating system and software architecture;
Programming skills are not required, but are an advantage.
