The Team Leader General Ledger / Closing & Reporting is responsible for ensuring the effective performance of the General Ledger and Fixed Assets functions within the region or countries assigned.
He / she manages individual performance and builds teamwork within his / her team.
Supervises General Accounting transactions processing;
Validates balance sheet accounts reconciliation;
Ensures Inter- and Intra-company transaction processing and clearing;
Ensures compliance with General Accounting Policies and Procedures;
Supervises General Accounting and Period End Routine activities;
Approves, supervises and ensures effective General Ledger accounting activities in his / her team;
Ensures achievement of service delivery requirements;
Acts as business partner to Local parts and SSC counterparts;
Initiates and drives Continuous Improvement in his / her team;
Performs coaching, mentoring and talent development activities for his / her team.
Professional Education Level or University Degree in Accountancy or Business Administration;
3-5 years of experience in an Accounting department of which at least 2 years in a coordination role is mandatory for this role;
Solid accounting knowledge.
