Your role :
Being a System Engineer you’ll have a key role in leading technical activities of the project, overseeing the design, solution, deployment and test until project is completed.
On a daily basis you will be :
Perform detailed design to refine and develop communication system solutions and services which satisfy the requirements of the customer, end users and operator
Undertake the generation of system documentation and equipment lists using relevant tools and processes.
Undertake presentations of technical solutions and services to customers, project teams and management.
Working with product groups & 3rd Parties to ensure equipment and sub-systems are available to meet project requirements and timescales.
Validating the client’s needs & requirements against pre-sales design
Work together with project managers to help track progress, decisions and changes.
Providing technical support for the deployment of the project
Timely detection and resolution of deviations from the design.
Participating in project reviews and identifying risks, issues and lessons learned
Adhering to applicable processes and maintaining accurate records.
Ensuring systems meet quality and security standards.
Management and closure of open technical issues to customer’s satisfaction.
Proactively reporting back into the organisation and escalating where appropriate.
Developing and / or executing test strategies and plans to ensure the solution(s) work as designed and requirements are fulfilled.
Your experience and skills :
To be successful as a System Engineer you should be / have :
Strong background in communications solutions and applications and architectures
In-depth understanding of Public Safety applications and solutions
Experience of complex project integration including interface definition
IP & Transmission design / implementation
Good communication skills and confidence to present solutions to customers / users
Knowledge of relevant standards - for example 3GPP and ETSI
Good understanding of leading industry OSS / BSS applications including CRM, customer portals, service catalogues and order management, service provisioning, billing and payment, network fault management and performance management, data warehouses and business intelligence tools
Knowledge of IT Service Management including ITIL standards and service management tools
Secure remote access solutions
Asset and inventory management
Network monitoring & performance reporting
OSS integration support for fault management and alarm correlation
Experience of working in a pre-sales environment (e.g. proposal response, customer presentations, etc)
Native Romanian speaker, fluent in English
Experience with delivery of turn-key telecommunications projects delivery
Experience with the RF sites planning and deployment
Experience with deployment of data centres
