The Business Intelligence Analyst will be based in Romania and part of our Operational Excellence Team’ in ESG Research Function.

This role will primarily support in management of our huge projects portfolio and include- collaborating on monthly project updates with project managers, transforming project-based data and updates into regular Power BI reports, converting such reports into insightful Power Point presentations.

The role may also be involved in ongoing and planned initiatives centred around- Reporting and MIS, Database exploration and KPI dashboards.

This role will report to the Head of Operational Excellence or Senior Project Manager within the Ops Excellence Team, and is ideal for an analytical, proactive, passionate person having around 5-6 years hands-on experience in Business Intelligence’- looking to work with a team that sets the benchmark within the function and with our very progressive organization.

The role needs a very strong blend of :

  • Analytical thinking; Deep MS Office Knowledge (all verticals of Microsoft Office- including Outlook, Teams, Power Apps, Power BI, Excel Macros, Power Point, and SharePoint- with preferably-though not compulsorily-SQL based querying too);
  • Hands-on experience in using and creating Power BI and other Dashboards;
  • Hands-on experience in building Microsoft Power Apps;
  • business requirements and use-case mapping; implementing software solutions; and excellent English communication skills.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Head of Operational Excellence and Senior Project Manager in executing the functional agenda across all Research teams
  • Collaborate within Research, with cross-functional teams of technical and non-technical stakeholders, with subject matter experts and work with them to define the business needs and desired outcomes that are scalable, intuitive, and flexible
  • Work on specialized data (including large data sets) and SharePoint lists, creating insights & Power BI graphs and reports from that data, creating clear and concise power point presentations for use of senior leadership
  • Build checks within the process to catch errors in data and reports
  • SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Computer science or Engineering
  • Very strong Microsoft Office skills (including advanced Excel & advanced PowerPoint) along with thorough Power BI, Share Point and Data analysis skills are mandatory
  • Excellent English communication is a must (both verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of SQL database environments (MSSQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL) is a plus
  • Knowledge of other programs like Teamwork(projects), statistical methods like Mini Tab, and basic awareness of modern programming languages is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and inter-personal skills
