Role Purpose

  • Support a customer focussed single point of entry towards NSAE for all IP demand related requests from VF-Networks (Group and Local Markets) and its affiliates.
  • Managing all kinds of demand requests from major projects to minor configuration requests.

  • Work with the customer to define their requirements fully and unambiguously, so that they are fit for purpose and ready for the delivery of a design solution against them.
  • Establish and run a fair, balanced and transparent demand management process for prioritising all IP demand requests coming into NSAE TTE, with the customer at the centre (internal and customer-focussed governance).
  • Provide consultancy services to the customer and manage the delivery of the demand throughout the process.
  • Proactively manage customer communications, providing them with feedback and status updates on their requirements. Support the Senior DDM Manager in managing escalations up to senior management level.
  • Work to establish the demand management role within the wider NSAE International areas, and maintain a close relationship to the customer and stakeholders in this space.
  • Work collaboratively with other NSAE areas, leading the virtual team for consultancy and early design and demonstrating a leadership role in delivering Customer demands.
  • Main Activity

  • Manage and support the prioritisation of projects and demands requiring further implementations into Network and Office IT technology areas.
  • Responsible for the scoping, sizing and tracking of all NSAE demand requests, as well as project managing them through to closure.
  • Ensure customers follow the NSAE demand management process. Ensuring transparency within the process and making it SIMPLE for the customer to use.
  • Responsible for the managing & prioritisation of NSAE, OpCos or International resources (i.e. horizontal and or vertical teams).
  • Build a community of Stakeholders in support of the NSAE customer i.e. contacts in the OpCos, Group Functions and Internationally.
  • Own the interface towards NSAE customers.
  • Work with the customer to define their requirements fully and unambiguously, so that they are fit for purpose and deliver a solution against this.
  • Core Competencies

  • Background in mobile and / or fixed network technology (design, implementation and roll out of services).
  • Broad Technical ability in Telecoms (knowledge of Transport and cross-functional (IP) services desirable).
  • Proven Project Management capability.
  • Very good understanding of business processes and needs.
  • Multi-national experience preferred.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with all cultures.
  • Very good organization skills.
  • High analytical skills.
  • Language skills English advanced.
