Technical Solution Consultant role offers a great opportunity for a technicallysolid expert to provide their development, architecture and presentation skills,to be an important part of Oracle’s fast growth in becoming the leader of theCloud on SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
You will be in constant communicationwith field sales representatives within EMEA and JAPAC region, who need yourtechnical expertise, product knowledge, development skills and presentationskills in order to demonstrate to the customers how they will achieve successand innovation using Oracle Cloud products and technologies.
Role / Responsibilities:
You will be working as a technicalsolution consultant and will be:
·Using yourtechnical expertise and product knowledge to respond to tenders from customers,technical questions around Oracle Cloud products and solutions
·Advising thecustomers, field sales representatives on solutions, products, architecture
·Collaboratingwith Product Management by bringing new ideas, potential use cases to furtherimprove Oracle Cloud Portfolio
The projects you develop, thetechnical information you do provide will have a major impact on the presalesand sales activities of Oracle, helping positioning the cloud products to the clientsand improving their businesses. While still being in the technical domain, youwill also have exposure on the sales cycles as well, improving further yourcareer.
Oracle Cloud Platform Technology subdomainsinclude, Apps and Mobile development, Content & Experience and Integrationspaces. Being in C&E and Integration, you will be able to participate inmany different and interesting projects and be able to specialize in one of thedomains as well. You will have the chance to work with the rich Platform as aService (PaaS) portfolio of Oracle Cloud technologies such as OracleIntegration Cloud Service, Oracle Content and Experience Cloud Service, IoTCloud Service, Blockchain Cloud Service, SOA Cloud Service and so on.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
