The software to be integrated and validated is used within an overall and large project in charge of the collection and treatment of satellite data to build meteorological products (weather maps).
It processes data received from acquisition and run within a dedicated framework based on Big Data technologies such as Apache Kafka and Storm.
Job summary :
You are part of the team in charge of the definition and execution of the activities related to the integration of the software components and to the validation of the overall solution.
Your mission is :
To be responsible for the maintenance of top-levels Java modules for the PDAP project. These modules provide global definitions and features such as packaging, QA metrics;
To be responsible for the integration of the virtual machines and clusters sent the customers;
In charge of maintenance of the nightly builds in the continuous integration platform;
Daily support of the development team to troubleshoot system problems : cluster installation, compilation, continuous integration ;
Active contribution to the Framework and system Integration within the project : development of simulators, production of input and reference data sets, development of system configuration elements, Integrate framework component and different components to set up reference system interface and configuration;
Definition and production of integration test cases;
Software integration in system integration reference platform and production environment;
Technical documentation as per project quality standards;
Reporting to the Integration Manager and I / V manager of the relevant elements to consolidate the progress of your activity.
Required competencies / experience :
You have a first experience in software integration and validation (medium : 3-5 years) in Linux environment and a first experience into software development of simulators based on PYTHON / JAVA languages
Requested competencies / experience :
You are familiar with the exchange technologies of the Java world (Java, Maven, checkstyle, jacoco) as well as deployment techniques and tools (e.g. Docker, Ansible);
You are familiar with configuration management tools (Git) and technical facts monitoring such Jira or Redmine;
You have knowledge of tools or programming languages like Jenkins, Nexus, Bash, Python, Java (DevOps, virtualization with WmWare);
You have good analytical skills and a certain ease in understanding the operation of complex systems from specification and design documents;
You are looking for a job where you will have to show your communication skill and your adaptation ability to various working contexts, including working directly with our customers and the end users of the solution;
You are rigorous in applying working processes;
You are autonomous and proactive on your tasks;
You like teamwork and knowledge sharing;
Fluent level in English required (basic level in French will be a plus).
