Liaise between dealer / customer and a wide variety of internal teams (material management,scheduling, plants, logistics, marketing) to ensure on time & complete delivery of ourproducts according to customer needs;
Handle the entire life cycle of an order starting with anticipation of customer’s needs,production scheduling & order amendments, project delivery planning, logistics, export(respecting custom regulations specific to the assigned markets) & after sales serviceswhere needed;
Anticipate risk factors that would prevent the execution of our customers projects andcollaborate with relevant internal & external parties to mitigate them, co-create solutions withour business partners and influence outcomes when necessary;
Actively balance service excellence with cost awareness by making informed decisions &applying critical thinking;
Create and maintain a strong connection with dealers and sales organization in order to getearly visibility on incoming projects and become a trusted advisor in the key projects definedas business priorities for each market;
Track order management KPIs and translate them into valuable insights to drive andpromote customer service excellence;
Share knowledge and offer coaching in different scenarios : pre-order meetings withsales / dealer, during project execution and delivery planning, coach dealers on how to useSteelcase order management tools available for them (when needed), train new teammembers on order fulfillment processes;
Keep a critical eye regarding the processes and raise the issues faced, as well as helpidentify & implement solutions;Who you are :
A customer-oriented professional with 4-5 years of relevant experience in ordermanagement, logistics & exports in manufacturing environments;
A good problem solver who can keep tight deadlines, work under pressure and handlemultiple tasks simultaneously and independently;
A strategic thinker that can work transversely and take prompt actions when required tomeet objectives of deliver excellence to our customers;
A good communicator who can build a strong network within the company and couldeffectively provide timely support and consultancy to our dealer & sales network;
A positive and active team player with strong analytical capabilities, that easily deals withambiguity and navigates complexity;
Self-motivated and eager to learn new things;
A very good English speaker (French or German would be a plus);What to expect : In the first 2 months :
Get familiarized with our strategy, mission and values;
Follow the dedicated training plan to help you gain process and product knowledge, crucialto your success;
Connect with your key customers, colleagues (local and remote);
Have markets assigned to you and gain confidence in working independently at the end ofthe 2nd month.In 3-6 months :
Start gaining knowledge on how the customers in your assigned markets operate;
Travel to various Steelcase locations within Europe and get to see our manufacturing,distribution and innovation facilities;
Meet face to face your key internal partners across Europe;
Gain more system knowledge and understand our processes at a deeper level.In 6-12 months :
Build tenure & trust with the customers in your assigned markets;
Continue to expand your network an impact across the organization;
