This role will be responsible for all aspects relating to the cost accounting of the Measurement & Analytical new manufacturing location in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

This includes ensuring accurate recording of costs, close monitoring of material cost spend and production costing, as well as related analysis and reporting, in accordance with all the applicable procedures and laws.


  • Responsible for proper recording, reporting, analysis and review of plant manufacturing costs and key performance measurements (operational and financial), in compliance with group and statutory regulations
  • Developing and maintaining annual labor and overhead rates that minimize operational variances
  • Review of Purchase Price Variances, Price / Cost and Net Material Inflation
  • Preparing reports in accordance with the group procedures / US GAAP (e.g. CARI, CARII)
  • Responsible for proper reporting of Inventory for both Financials (correct valuation of RAW, WIP and FG, incl. inventory provisions and leading the physical inventory process from a Finance standpoint), as well as inventory planning in the POR
  • Conducting analysis of any deviations in actuals from original plans (sales, materials, other costs)
  • Conducting productivity analysis
  • Conducting analysis of product cost calculations (standard, ongoing), product mix & price, verifying direct production costs and indirect costs
  • Owning the cost management system and ensuring its continuous improvement
  • Cooperation with operational departments in order to ensure control and optimization of costs
  • Provision of management and analytical information to operations, senior management and other stakeholders, as required
  • Other projects as defined by Finance Manager
  • Communicates effectively with local, European and Business Unit management
  • Other duties as required.
  • Requirements

  • Relevant university degree with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience, in a manufacturing environment
  • Very good knowledge of operational costing
  • Proactive, ethical and enthusiastic individual
  • Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of HFM & Oracle is an advantage
  • Very good level of English
  • Good communication skills
