Job Description

We are looking for a Human Resources leader in Romania to join our newly established Group Services Centre who will create and grow the HR function.

We are looking for a person who will be focused on creating a dynamic work culture and enhancing the performance and growth of our team in Romania.

This role would suit a HR Generalist or Business Partner looking to take that next step in their career. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who would relish the challenge of establishing a HR department, processes and procedures for the new company.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain local HR policies, practices, and procedures in line with local legislation and industry norms.
  • Work with local, and wider European, Talent Acquisition team to oversee the development of hiring plans in support of the recruitment strategy.
  • Partner with managers and teams to interpret, and create, action plans based on results rendered from employee engagements surveys / feedback.
  • Create and lead the execution of on-boarding, training, coaching, employee development and succession planning for all employees in the legal entity.
  • In line with Group Annual Review Process, manage the employee performance review process, providing analysis, and guidance to managers.
  • Partner with managers on all personnel matters including :
  • Employee relations.
  • Recruitment.
  • Retention.
  • Leadership effectiveness.
  • Performance management.
  • Coordination of employee initiatives which support and promote Eurofins culture and work.
  • Create and manage a local HR team.
  • Qualifications

    Required Skills and Experiences

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources management or similarly related business or psychological qualification.
  • A master’s degree in the same would be an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Additional HR based training / qualifications would be an advantage.
  • Up to 5 years’ experience working as a HR Generalist in a medium sized organisation.
  • 1 years’ experience in working in an IT organisation would be a distinct advantage.
  • Current knowledge of Human Resources trends and industry practices, as well as applicable employment law knowledge.
  • Experience in organisational design leadership and coaching.
  • Experience in administering the full, end-to-end employee lifecycles from recruitment to separation, performance management, compensation, succession planning.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required to deliver presentations, conduct meetings, and provide coaching at all levels of the organisation, including executives.
  • English as a second language is a must.
