DESCRIPTION
Currently we are looking for a Lead Data Scientist Computer Vision . We support Employment Contract or B2B, depending on your preference.
This job is about turning data into actionable knowledge, which requires a blend of scientific, problem solving, analytical, technical, and communication skills.
The role is primarily focused on (but is not limited to) solving business problems in the technological domain of Computer Vision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify the business problems and find the right data and methods to address them
Process large volumes of structured and unstructured customer data using advanced analytical solutions
Turn analysed data into unique actionable insights and business value
Propose holistic and sophisticated Data Science solutions for business problems
Translate requirements and acceptance criteria into ML implementations
Create Data Science solution architecture
Estimate, plan and coordinate the delivery of large projects
Tackle an extensive range of ML problems from the Computer Vision domain
Communicate effectively with different departments and roles (stakeholders, product managers, engineers) to discuss complex data-driven findings and technical matters
Tell stories back to business through stunning data visualisations
Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and mentoring to Middle and Senior Data Scientists
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of relevant experience; experience and knowledge of various framework / modelling and hypotheses testing techniques and methods
Ability to build models or frameworks accurately reflecting various aspects of business problems
Up-to-date knowledge in the research field, At least, one advanced topic (Video processing, GANs, Self-supervised approaches, Transformers, 3D, Point clouds, etc.)
Capable of designing and building systems that utilize multiple CV components (e.g. Face ID detection (tracking) >
key point alignment >
retrieval)
Experience with end-to-end ML systems in the cloud, including data processing of both structured and unstructured data, feature engineering, training, tuning, and productization of ML models
Proficiency with, at least, one of the Cloud providers
Ability to play a role of Project Coordinator for small and middle-sized Data Science teams. Ability to be self-manageable, and work with minimal supervision
NICE TO HAVE
1+ years of experience leading delivery teams in the Data Science field
Data focused applied mathematics (statistical analysis, machine learning)
Decent communication / presentation skills (including working English fluency)
Big Data stack; Spark / MLlib; CI / CD, MLFlow
Passion for researching, learning, and creating new techniques and methodologies
Willingness to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic
Ability to handle strict deadlines and multiple tasks
