General Profile & Main Responsibilities

The Manager, Change Management will be responsible for maintaining ADP's Change Leadership methodology and supporting tools & processes within the iHCM organization.

This professional has a key role in driving change initiatives by functioning as a thought leader to the organization supporting leadership teams across the organization using ADP change methodology.

This position will focus on both the people and organizational aspects of change including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organization structures.

This professional also works with business leaders to create and implement change management plans that effect successful change and maximize employee engagement.

Responsible for building capability and capacity for change in ADP associates trained or consulted with during work projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and / or improve organizational capability tools, templates, and methods to implement initiatives as well as educate business leaders on organizational capability and change leadership / management concepts and approaches.
  • Establishes, manages, and participates in a global community of practice across ADP to strengthen the effectiveness of our change practice, internal change integration capabilities, and accelerate knowledge sharing and leading practices.
  • Advise on and apply a structured change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change.
  • Provide consulting advice for change leadership / management best practices and ability to guide / coach senior leaders in their roles as change sponsors.
  • Assist with impact analysis and stakeholder assessments. Assist with the conduct of risk and readiness assessments. Assist with the development of a set of actionable and targeted change management plans (, training, risk, resistance, etc.).
  • Assist with the definition of overall communications strategy and plan for change initiatives including consultation, diagnostics, development of core messaging, planning, implementation, and evaluation to drive behavior change.
  • Assist with the development of communications materials.
  • Support the execution of change plans by managers and business leaders, engaging and coaching leaders who are change sponsors and agents.
  • Assist with the reinforcement and deployment of the One ADP Change Leadership and Management principles and practices.
  • Business & Process Leadership

    Requires broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories, and practices in the discipline of change management and communication and maintains a working knowledge of other disciplines such as payroll service delivery, payroll / HR outsourcing, implementation (must question the status quo).

  • Translates strategy / priorities into work product.
  • Assists with the building of team engagement.
  • Guides, influences, and persuades others either internally or lower complexity external customers or agencies.
  • Planning and execution of strategic change management practices in support of transactional and transformational change.
  • Facilitate strategic planning processes.
  • Project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous improvement / business process improvement (BPI) approaches, tools, and methodologies, including Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen.
