Based in Cluj, you will be primarily responsible to create analytical systems proposals for Liquid and Gas analytical systems for petrochemical, refining, power, chemical and process applications (Refining, Ethylene, LNG, SWAS, CEMS, etc.
Also you will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of medium size and complexity analytical system proposals based on customer specifications, in line with the sales strategy
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL :
Prepare medium size and complexity analytical system proposals in collaboration with Solution Architect, Senior Proposal Engineer, Sales Lead, BDMs, Execution Team, suppliers and customers
Successfully manage multiple proposals at the same time
Initiate proposal kick-off meetings and internal / external (customer) technical / commercial negotiations
Understand customer applications and processes (Refining, Ethylene, LNG applications, etc.)
Review and summarize customer specifications
Responsible for the right selection of analyzers (Emerson and buyout analyzers)
Perform necessary engineering calculations (dewpoint, lag time, HVAC, power load, wake frequency, etc.)
Provide technical specifications to sub-suppliers for buyout equipment / services. Monitor and expedite sub-supplier offers required by each specific MSS analytical proposal
Outline of proposal documentation and certification requirements
Responsible to deliver proposals on time, with the right solution, accurate costs and at the right quality to ensure winning chances
Oversee and manage proposal deliverables (cost calculation, word proposal, deviation list, subsupplier offers, etc.)
Assure good, regular communication and coordination with all stakeholders of a proposal pursuit (sales offices, solution architect, PM, customer, internal / external teams, etc.)
Provide additional support as required by the proposal manager
FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED :
Bachelor’s Degree (Chemistry, Process Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent work experience
3+ years’ experience with Analytical Products or Analytical System solutions within an engineering environment (proposal engineer, technical sales, application engineer, execution engineer)
Advanced knowledge of process engineering and instrumentation
Advanced knowledge of analytical products and systems
Knowledge and experience of analytical system applications built and delivered by EMR
Ability to prioritize tasks and work on several proposals at the same time
Good knowledge of MS Office
English language skills - verbal and written; Italian or German language skills are an advantage
Practical experience with analytical systems is an advantage
Basic project management experience would be a plus
