Security Products group is responsible for the protection of customer and corporate data. We are connected to all parts of Amazon's business and it’s massive, worldwide service-oriented architecture.
We are starting the work on a new mission critical system that will preserve and improve the trusted experience that Amazon provides to its customers.
This is a greenfield initiative with plenty of opportunity for innovation in the security space through new machine learning techniques.
Our vision is to protect Amazon customer, seller, vendor, and employee information across businesses by preemptively detecting internal and external attackers.
We will proactively identify and onboard applications, data access platforms, and access management systems that are in the path to accessing sensitive data and continuously monitor them for anomalous usage.
We are seeking a customer-obsessed, team-driven senior technical program manager to coordinate and own the adoption campaign for continuous monitoring of services.
This role is inherently cross-functional and requires the ability to think big and collaborate with others as you work closely with teams across engineering, security and scientists.
We are looking for a critical thinker who thrives on solving challenges in partnership with teams. You are comfortable with a degree of ambiguity and display high levels of bias for action and ownership.
The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, and will have a well-rounded technical background in current technologies.
You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
As a TPM, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.
