Job Description The French anti-corruption law SAPIN II, addressing transparency, anti-corruption and economic modernization, entered into force on 1 June 2017.
The law stipulates that companies must establish an anti-corruption program to identify and mitigate corruption risks. The Sapin II law criminalizes influence peddling and, thus, makes any legal or natural person criminally liable for offering a donation, gift or reward, with the intent to induce a foreign public official or private employee to abuse his / her position or influence to obtain an undue advantage.
A ground-breaking feature of the Sapin II law is the expanded extraterritorial effect it gives to French criminal law, consequently removing the dual criminality requirement.
Consequently, as part of the French Group Auchan Retail, Auchan Retail Romania has the legal obligation to comply with the requirements of the law Sapin II.
As our Economic Safety Analyst, you will integrate the new Department of Economic Safety of Auchan Romania. Your main roles will be to ensure the reduction of economic risks involving third parties (suppliers, providers or partners) and to enable Auchan Retail Romania to be compliant with its legal obligation.
By building Due Diligence reports, you will enable your colleagues from other departments and your Top Management to make informed decisions for the business.
Your main responsibilities will be to : Analyze data coming from different sources (internal databases, external databases, and international databases aggregators) regarding third partiesComplete rating grids, based on factual research, which will then allow you to formulate an opinion in due diligence.
Write due diligence reports which consist in a summary allowing to have a realistic assessment of the situation of the company or the audited person : statutory, financial and reputation situation.
Write a final opinion or recommendation on the advisability of initiating or maintaining a commercial relationship with the verified third partyConduct training for internal Auchan Employees to train them on the internal process SAPIN 2 - DUE DILIGENCES.
