The test development team in Bucharest develops, qualifies and optimizes test solutions for a wide range of Automotive Body Power products, such as ICs used in Intelligent Motor Control with different functions in the car.

To strengthen our team we are looking for an experienced Test Development Engineer for Intelligent Motor Control ICs.In this role you will be dedicated to the specification and development of wafer test and final test solutions in close cooperation with design teams and operations sites.

Part of this function is also the understanding of product test cost implication for existing and future products within the Infineon product and manufacturing test landscape.

In your role as Test Engineer you will :

Define feasibility studies, test concepts and test specifications.

Design test hardware for automated test equipment (ATE).

Code / debug test programs.

Transfer and maintain test packages in Infineon’s worldwide production sites.

Analyze statistical test data.

Develop and implement innovative methods to reduce test costs and to improve quality.

You are best equipped for this task if you have :

A Master’s Degree in Microelectronic / Electronic Engineering or comparable background in the semiconductor industry.

At least 2 years of experience in test engineering / development or lab measurement.

Good command of English language.

Reasonable programming skills (VBA, C / C++ preferred).
