Visma IT & Communications is looking for a passionate and experienced Quality Assurer.

You must have a drive to develop high quality processes that will run in an unusually complex technical environment. You will be a member of Visma IT Internal Development team, where your skills and contributions to manage our billing and assets needs will be very visible.

You must love to help team members and to receive help from them. The team is international so you will use English both written and orally.

Your skills :

Master's or Bachelor's degree in related fields, preferably Informatics / Business area, with an overall minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience

Previous experience in Quality Assurance

Strong analytical and methodical capabilities

Clear, concise verbal and writing skills

Knowledge of DB and SQL queries is an advantage

Attention to details

In depth knowledge of processes, research and performance analysis capabilities

Negotiation capabilities and problem solving mindset

Understanding the IT Service industry as well as the relevant marketplace

Having knowledge about methodologies relevant to development, such as agile, Continuous Delivery and DevOps in an advantage

  • Effectively cope with change; comfortably adjust to alterations in work activities; able to decide and act with limited information;
  • effectively handle risk and uncertainty in ambiguous situations

    Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem solving skills in a variety of situations

    Highly effective written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and experience dealing effectively with a wide range of people

    Digital skills (i.e. Google for Work apps).

    Fluency in Business English is required

    Fast learner - research capabilities for obtaining required information.

    Tasks :

    Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing, striving towards agile testing principles

    Review and analyze specifications received from stakeholders

    Write test cases based on the specifications received

    Follow up testing of new or changed functionality in sprint and end to end test

    Provide information to the Product Owner in order to help him / her to make the correct decisions when it comes to release of the software, based upon quality criteria set by the team

    Identify scenarios for automated testing

    Assist with writing user stories and other backlog items

    Assist with non-functional testing of the service (for example security, performance, ...)

    Collaborate with the team to develop effective strategies and test plans

    Plan and perform different stages of testing

    Execute test cases and analyze results

    Evaluate product according to specifications

    Help troubleshoot issues

    Document test progress and results

    Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
