The employee is responsible for the implementation of the PPP funding strategy in Romania.
The employee studies, analyses and evaluates funding programs and announcements of Ministries (Federal and County level) and the European Union to promote opportunities and presents these compiled statements to the management and experts in the departments.
In order to ensure a targeted and efficient acquisition, the owner creates funding roadmaps in cooperation with the Business Units on country level.
The employee analyses the national and European funding landscape and examines, whether the project fits into the funding programs.
The employee advises the project managers what kind of participation is meaningful and cost- effective for Continental (e.
g. partnership, associated partner, subcontractor) and supports him in all the issues regarding the financing of third party funds from the first question to form and application in time.
The employee is considering whether the project manager meets all formalities and guidelines during the request submission of promoting the project in encouraging funding and examines the documents to be submitted for completeness and accuracy.
In addition, the employee is an interface between the project managers, Controlling, Law and Intellectual Property departments regarding the project planning, calculation of the eligible costs, contracts etc.
Issues of project manager can be promptly resolved to set binding approaches for Continental.
The employee helps the project managers with the Continental internal processes, such as the planning of the project according to internal processes, tools, monitoring and reporting of the internal and external funding processes.
The place holder creates proposal applications, catch up with the relevant signatures and sends full application papers to the funding authorities.
Furthermore the employee is an interface between the company and the funding authorities and the main contact for all administrative issues.
A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, preferences and organization.
A successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a comparable field.
Experience or affinity with R&D projects is a must.
Experience in an industrial environment and good understanding of technical contexts.
Experience in funding acquisition and administration of publicly funded projects.
Project management skills as well as having a pro-active approach.
Experience in the field of finance and controlling.
Experience in communication with stakeholders from industry, research and politics.
High diplomatic skills.
