You will collect detailed customer requirements, write System Design Documents, configure 8x8 and 3rd party product features and services, train administrators and end-users, and troubleshoot deployment issues.
Throughout the deployment phase, you will work closely with internal departments and the customer's IT staff to create and carry out deployment projects according to schedule.
This position is remote and to be located in Romania, it's also covering a mix of UK and US shift hours.
Gather functional and business requirements from customers and translates them into System Design requirements. Provides hands-on configuration, testing, documentation, and technical assistance to customers, resellers, and vendors during 8x8 deployments.
Collaborate with internal department to ensure customer requirements are fully captured and successfully deployed.
Identify design issues and follows-up with Project Management and Engineering for successful resolution
Configure PBX, call flows, user profiles and call management features
Perform network validation
Test system and ensure proper routing of calls, including performing troubleshooting and escalation as necessary
Provide on-site and remote training of customers administrators and end-users
Provide full documentation of the deployment to assist in the successful transition of the customer to our support teams
Work with cross-functional internal groups to channel customer feedback to help improve 8x8 products and services
Demonstrate a passion for the continued success of our customers
Experience deploying communications systems
Working knowledge of telephony, VoIP, PBX and SIP Trunking
Experience configuring routers, troubleshooting and supporting LAN / VoIP systems
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of deployments through successful completion
Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated in a customer-facing environment
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Working Schedule :
Schedule required to cover US East Coast working hours : 15 : 00 - 00 : 00 local time interval (EET)
