  • Provides input in service attributes such as performance and availability etc.
  • Represents Doors and Variant Management services across the organization
  • Point of escalation(notification) for major incidents on Doors and Variant Management Service
  • Represents Doors and Variant Management services in Change Advisory board meetings
  • Gathering service level requirements from the customer and provides input on Continuous service improvements (CSI)
  • Moderates internal (within IT organization) and external (with customers) Service review meetings
  • Ensuring the service entry in the Service Catalog is accurate and is maintained
  • Negotiating and maintai ning SLA's with the customer
  • Producing, reviewing and evaluating reports on service performance and achievements on a regular basis
  • Define and keep track of service budgets (HW acquisition, external support providers etc).
  • Job Requirements

    This is what it takes to be a successful in Service Owner for Doors and Variant Management

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree, Computer Science / Information Technology. Engineering or equivalent.
  • More than 1 year Experience with managing IT Services
  • Familiar with Linux and / or Windows environments
  • Familiar with IBM and cloud technologies
  • A good understanding of IT services and qualifying factors in order to understand the customer requirements
  • IT Service Management skills and ITIL knowledge required
  • Good technical understanding and an ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into easily understood business conc epts and vice versa
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Good vendor management skills
  • Good communication and negotiations skills
