Background & Purpose of the Job :

The Trade Marketing Specialist plays a key role in delivering the operational business plan through the Marketing Team and CD Account Management team in the South Central European market.

In this role, you will provide input into the development of the Category Business Plan, with focus on ensuring that customer’s requirements and plans are incorporated and that the plan will grow both the total category and the Unilever business.

This is an operational role and we are looking for a very organized person with data analytics skills, agility and time management.

Job Requirements :

University Degree, trade marketing background mandatory >


Sales background - preferred

Ability to work both independently, to take responsibility for actions and to collaborate as part of a team goals is required

Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills in a fast-paced environment

MS Office suite

Strong relationship building and interpersonal skill

Capability for problem solving and decision making

Great communication and negotiation skills

Responsiveness, adaptation, and flexibility

Driving license category B

Role and Responsibilities :

We’re looking for a passionate customer marketing person, that will facilitate clear and open dialogue with Account Management Team to ensure they have clear understanding of Unilever category strategy and plans.

This person will sit within the Category & Channel Development team and focus on bringing the customer journey to life and telling compelling stories that educate, inspire, and take our sales motions to the next level.

Leadership of the activities under Promo budget and deliver the volume KPIs in line with the target

Risk and Opportunities management in terms of category volumes

Develop & follow the implementation of Quarterly Activity Plan aligned between Marketing and Account Management teams to deliver the company targets

Drive profitable mix inside category

Leaflet Strategy and management

Portfolio route to market strategy

Development & evaluation of Category tactics (e.g. promo price, free weight, co-packs, boosters etc.)

  • Implementing the KPIs established by the line manager in accordance with Unilever standards;
