The Project Manager applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule, cost, and performance risks to ensure satisfied customers.

This role has ultimate responsibility for all assigned projects and manages customer satisfaction, definition, planning, monitoring, and other aspects of a project.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Manager Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Responsible to thoroughly understand and communicate the business requirements to appropriate team members, and manage all requirements accordingly.
  • Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback.
  • Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives.
  • Track progress and review project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately.
  • Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and business goals.
  • Proactively communicate project status, issues and risks to business owner and management.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder’s needs and requirements continuously in view.
  • Work collaboratively with development staff and support staff to maintain thorough knowledge of product capabilities, and to ensure that all communication is precise.
  • Implementation Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Define and maintain all implementation processes, manage implementation lifecycle; coordinate documentation when needed.
  • Coordinates the troubleshooting of the technical issues when the need arises, and escalates appropriately as needed.
  • Maintain timelines and target dates updated.
  • Product Development Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Define and maintain all product development processes, manage software development lifecycle.
  • Organize and facilitate project planning, meetings, reviews, retrospectives.
  • Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
  • Facilitate productivity by ensuring that the team has tools to succeed.
  • Find and work to remove development and project roadblocks; motivates the development team and keep them excited to move forward;
  • protects the team from outside distractions.

  • Manage the team - Ensure that deadlines are being upheld.
  • Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments;
  • Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.

    Education :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
  • Experience :

  • 1-2 years of project management experience.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the software development industry is a plus.
  • Communication Skills :

  • Verbal / Nonverbal Convey easily and quickly any message; Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations;
  • listens attentively and seeks clarification; Responds well to questions; Maintain professional nonverbal communication analogous to situation

  • Written - Writes clearly and informatively; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret complex written information.
  • Presentation - Presents clearly and informatively, easily maintaining audience attention and responding to audience needs;
  • Able to facilitate discussion, progress effectively, and manage audience as needed.

    Computer Skills :

  • Become and remain proficient in all programs necessary to perform the everyday duties of this position.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products is required.
