Sales Operations Analyst 3This role is aimed at facilitating and supporting Oracle Consulting Romania’s sales teams in performing both the external and internal tasks required to enable the closure of the deals, as well as helping to identify and pursue the sale of Cloud opportunities and related services. A keen business sense and attention to details are required, in working towards the broader goal of creating satisfied customers, healthy customer relationships, and growing both Consulting and Cloud services related revenues, profit margins, and market share. This position has visibility over the entire sales process, from inception through completion.Responsabilities:• Assisting the sales team with Oracle’s internal applications such as, but not limited to, Fusion, iProjects etc.;Helping the sales teams with structuring transactions within Oracle’s current business practices and policies to maximize revenue and margin recognition for Oracle and minimize nonstandard requests potential risks;• Assist the operations team with the relevant processes and tasks that pertain to the sales objectives;• Support sales team in performing Bid Management related tasks in order to ensure that all Oracle policies and procedures are followed;• Reviewing and editing sales proposals and contracts (ODs etc.);• Assisting in (Public) Tender proposal processes, including with Bid Management activity;• Working with Bid Profitability Worksheets;• Draft and complete Ordering Documents and Exhibits, including executive summary requests;• Process deals through internal approval systems, with Oracle’s internal applications such as, but not limited to, Fusion, iProjects etc.;• Do credit checks to assess a customer’s financial soundness;• Facilitate customer signature;• Assist with Back Office administration;• Coaching, Training and Enablement on new Tools, Processes and Policies.• Proactively engage with and coach field sales teams to develop optimal deal structures that minimize nonstandard requests, control risk, and maximize revenue and margins;• Interact with other corporate areas such as RevRec, Deal Management, Legal, etc. in order to facilitate the internal processes required to enable the sales from inception through completion;• Coordinate with Deal Management in order to ensure consistency of the documents with the legacy terms and/or the terms negotiated with the customer; • Assist with reviewing sales operations processes to identify and implement enhancements;• Enabling, overseeing and proactively facilitating internal approval processes to reduce internal delays and barriers to deal closure;• Ensuring consistency of the OCS global terms, conditions and concessions and identifying local country intricacies that impact OCS Romania;• Participating in onsite negotiations, presentations and other demeanours aimed at enhancing the sales capacities and facilitating the closure of the deals;• Coordinating with sales management to protect and build opportunities and assisting with oversight of terms being offered to customers;• Continuously review SI and other Oracle tools in order to identify opportunities where Oracle Consulting can attach, with a focus on Cloud business but not exclusively. • Act as a Oracle Consulting standalone Cloud sales enabler (representative).in front of other LoB’s for opportunities or services that are not recognised as Sales for CSR’s (eg. not in their territory, standard Packages of services etc.)Required Skills• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal; • Understanding of the sales processes; • Understanding OCS’s structure and relevant processes as well as the ones related to Cloud;•Desire to enable and empower the sales teams;• Capacity to assess situations objectively and take strong positions when necessary;• Patient and cooperative personality;• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;• Comfortable operating as an independent contributor, researching resolution to issues, and reporting findings to the team;• Knowledge of Oracle internal business procedures (contracting process, business practices, revenue recognition etc.);• Ability to negotiate and mediate tactfully and calmly in difficult circumstances;• Strong understanding of contractual language and business terms specific to the software industry;• Comfortable presenting to senior executives and large groups, both verbally and in written presentations;• Ability to resolve issues independently and creatively;• Willingness to take ownership of issues and ability to see them through to completion;Qualifications/Experience• Bachelor’s/Master degree in (International) Business/other commercial studies• 3+ years of previous experience in performing a similar role;• (B2B) Sales experience; Prior experience in dealing with sales process /negotiation with customer both public and commercial;• Understand IT Cloud business concepts, advantages and challenges for customers will be very important;• Experience in promoting IT solutions like ERP, EPM, HCM, Project Management, CRM will be very important. An advantage is to have understanding also about middleware solutions like Integration, Identity Management, Document Management and BI;• Experience with CRM System(s), preferably Oracle (Siebel, Fusion etc)• Microsoft Office skills• Native Romanian language skills & fluency in English• Other languages proficiency (German, French etc.) are a plusAs part of Oracle’s employment process candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment screening process, prior to an offer being made.
