The Oracle Global Functional Expertis responsible for defining, supporting, and driving the operations andstrategic direction of the Supplier Data Management processes, and ensuring thesystems and tools used within Global Procurement and Finance support the needsof both Finance and the business.

The Functional Expert for SupplierData Management will be responsible for a variety of systems, projects, reportsand tasks in support of the business. This position is global in nature andreports to the Source to Procure Global Process Owner. Major responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to the following:

The candidate should have leadprojects involving cross-functional areas. Must be flexible and comfortableworking in a fast paced, dynamically changing deadline-driven environment. Theindividual is a self-starter, requiring manager direction on new tasks orcomplex situations only. The candidate will have fluency with standardtechnology and business software and the capacity to quickly master newtechnology, as needed.

Provides programs to improveoperational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of theorganization’s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides businesspractices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization onbusiness practices and processes.
Serve as a liaison with otherdivisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, AccountsReceivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate andtimely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyzedata to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives.Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them ofdeviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact andcompliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. CommunicateOracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvalsfor full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
Job duties are varied and complexutilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detailis critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheetformat. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal andthird parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationshipmanagement skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communicationskills to interact with management and possible clients desired.
