Purpose Of The Role


This role will support a Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) functions (Transportation, Planning, and Customer Service) in the development and implementation of HR strategies and programs in support of our European region and Supply Chain growth strategy.

It will also work closely with the Centres of Excellence (Talent, Reward and ER) and our shared service centre (GBS) to define and execute HR plans and priorities.

The role will be responsible for 250+ employees across Europe, with the largest team based in Romania which an exciting opportunity to coach and develop leaders and teams to deliver our business strategy.


  • Lead talent management & succession planning strategy processes focused on great people, experiences, and environment with the CS&L teams and ensure these are aligned with the European region and Supply Chain strategy.
  • Be a change agent for the business, challenging the status quo, leading and supporting change and organisational transitions.
  • Working with the CS&L teams to embed new more agile ways of working and Future Ready ways of working.
  • Partnering with relevant Supply Chain leadership team members to design and facilitate team development sessions building trust and empowerment
  • Establish strong credible relationships with business leaders and people managers, recognising and tackling business issues, assessing potential HR requirements and implementing appropriate solutions to address these.
  • Coach Leaders, Managers and Teams to ensure leadership behaviour is aligned to the K values & our Growth Competencies and enables people managers to have the right conversations with their teams to drive employee engagement and performance.
  • Support the Reward COE in the development and delivery of benefits, reward and recognition schemes including the deployment of Achievers and salary review.
  • Support the Talent COE in the delivery of HR initiatives such as Global Opinion Survey engagement improvement plans, Talent Management, career management, managing recruitment and supporting job fairs in geographic areas
  • Provide expert advice to GBS HR Generalists on HR best practice, legislation and country-specific ER topics.
  • Work closely with ER COE and HR Director to advise on country-specific ER implications.
  • Support complex ER case management and complex consultation issues (e.g. country specific requirements).
  • Support HR Director with and attend ongoing local consultations.
  • Lead strategic HR projects to support our Growth Strategy and unlock the capacity of our organisation

  • Graduate, with post-graduate HR qualification.
  • Solid experience as an HR generalist plus a sound understanding of European HR strategies, practices and polices including Change Management, Organisational Effectiveness, Culture and Employee Engagement.
  • Good working knowledge of domestic employment law and HR best practice
  • Strategic thinking, strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Courage and the ability to challenge the status quo to continuously improve
  • Flexible, problem solving approach and strong team player / relationship builder
  • Excellent facilitation and team development skills
  • Record of accomplishment on Project management; being able to manage and prioritise multiple stakeholders.
  • PowerPoint & Excel skills are preferred but not essential.
