Job Description & Summary

A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients.

You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our Policy, Strategy, and Leadership - Practice Support team provides strategic oversight, manages operations, and develops policies for all aspects of PwC’s Information Technology team.

Job Description

Business process engineer focuses on optimizing existing business processes or creating new ones that respond to business needs, especially in the areas of Robotics Process Automation.

It diagnoses problems with an organization's current methodology, and works to redesign, reconstruct, and monitor processes to ensure they are effective.

Once the implemented changes are tested for their effectiveness, you consistently work to update and further improve solutions.

As a business process engineer, you may implement new technologies into the workplace to create automated and efficient solutions.

Hiring Preferences

  • A Masters' Degree in Business, Information Services, Statistics, or Engineering is preferred;
  • Proven track record of self development and professional growth;
  • Business Process Management;
  • Proven ability to apply business process principles to business solutions;
  • Proven facilitation skills with previous experience designing workshops, facilitating sessions and working with teams to gain crucial input from key contributors;
  • Analytical Thinking;
  • Strong research and investigation skills;
  • Business Acumen;
  • Possesses a broad enterprise view of the business as well as understanding of how the internal client's and own business operates;
  • Ability to recognize structural issues within the organization i.e functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies;
  • Ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected business information, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization, especially in relation to automation;
  • Understands and defines high-level client requirements;
  • Manages stakeholder expectations, maintaining focus on overall deliverables, and applying contractual terms of engagement;
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations;
  • Ability to influence others to move toward consensus;
  • Ability to apply project management principles to consulting projects, including schedule, scope, communications, risk, and quality;
  • Lean or Six Sigma Certification or Design Thinking fundamentals certification is considered a plus;
  • Practical know of Celonis C4C+ suite is considered a plus.
