This is a high energy and high impact role that requires comprehensive understanding of both business needs and technical solutions to address those needs, and an insatiable drive to deliver high quality.

Product Owner will work with technical teams, business analysts, project managers and project stakeholders to build, grow and maintain solid products that bring added value to the company.

This role includes leading cross-functional resources necessary for successful product definition where you will provide relevant business context for Agile software development team.

The main area of experitse will be the Delivery Management System, which handles all eMAG orders and the relation to integrated couriers.

Ownership over this system implies understanding of the operational flows that track the order from our warehouse, through the courier network, until the order is delivered to the client.

Here are included all the limitations, optimization techniques, as well as finding quick wins for all the countries that eMAG operates in.

Responsibilities

  • Drive one or more Scrum Teams as a Product Owner;
  • Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team throughout the project lifetime and create requirements in the forms of Epics and Stories;
  • Backlog management and prioritization, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories;
  • Partnering with Project Managers and Business Analysts to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI;
  • Lead product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities;
  • Providing an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release / Sprint Goals;
  • Understanding users and managing the roadmap for the product;
  • Requirements

  • Solid Agile experience
  • 3 years experience working as a Product Owner in a technology environment;
  • JIRA or similar backlog management tool
  • Stakeholder management
  • Understanding of technology; Language and Applications;
  • Proven ability to define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business changes required to address them;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and the business teams;
  • Proficient in English;
  • Working with databases;
  • Middle to high Excel knowledge.
  • Able to work on several simultaneous projects and to adapt to a fast evolving environment.
