We have an opportunity for a Estimator II with French in our Performance Material & Technologies (PMT) department in Bucharest.

Support the sales function in the PMT organization by developing accurate, timely and professional estimates. You will analyze the sales estimates to the customer requirements and provide guidance on factors to be used for competitive estimating.

You will provide accurate and timely estimates which include scope, material, and labor effort by skilled discipline. You will develop cost effective estimates and identify explicit proposal inclusions to be prepared within required timelines.

Estimator II with French Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze quotation requests and other documents / technical drawings.
  • Work with sales, operations and other internal support teams to define solutions which best fit the customer technical and commercial requirements.
  • Identify external content (3rd party) and interact with Procurement to obtain technical and commercial offers from external suppliers.
  • Define proposal plan which should include all resources, responsibilities, deliverables and due dates for the members of the involved estimation team.
  • Prepare full proposal and costing of all Honeywell hardware, software and services, other 3rd party content, contingencies, etc.
  • Coordinate internal processes such as Kick-off Meeting, Proposal Review Meeting, Risk and Opportunity review, Global Approval Process, etc.
  • Answer post-offer technical questions / clarifications and update the offer if necessary.
  • Assist in customer clarification meetings when required.
  • Be a change agent, influence, consult and lead efforts for sharing and standardizing of best practices and processes.
  • Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical / energetics / industrial engineering
  • Advanced English and French
  • Min 2-3 years experience in similar role
  • Technicalmindset and integrative thinking
  • Customer oriented
  • Microsoftoffice tools and other business level applications
  • Previous experience in process automation and control solutions would represent and advantage
