As a Cash Collection Specialist, we work closely with our clients and the client organization to ensure our clients are paying their Cerner invoices.

The role is a relationship-based role with daily interaction with Cerner clients via email and phone calls. Our clients are highly important to Cerner and our role of making sure they understand and pay their invoices is essential to Cerner’s growth and success.

As a Cash Collection Specialist, you will handle a set of clients which will allow you to establish a strong working relationship with the client contact(s).

The working relationship is important as you will be answering questions from the client related to their invoices and contracts.

You will confirm clients have received their Cerner invoices, understand the invoices and are in position to pay the invoices.

This can include facilitating the resolution of a dispute. Contacting clients for information (such as obtaining a PO number) as well as resolving complex issues and following up with clients is necessary in this role.

Responding to email and phone calls from clients and the client organization is a daily task. You will educate clients / internal partners on policies and procedures to help get Cerner paid by our clients.

Use of Microsoft excel is a daily task.


Basic Qualifications :

  • High school education or 2 years equivalent relevant work experience;
  • Experience with Excel;
  • Fluent in English.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Collections or finance-related work experience;
  • Experience with PeopleSoft;
  • Basic knowledge of any of the following languages but is not required for this position- German, French, Italian, Spanish or Swedish.
  • Expectations :

  • Must live in Romania
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
